DESCRIPTION:We’re going to check out the 2nd annual Capital Flight Aviation & Auto Cruise-In at the Middleton Airport. \nAll spectators are free! \nWant to show your car and be eligible for judging? Entry fee is $25 and we’re trying to get a MSCC Corral going so please let me know at socials@madisonsportscarclub.com if you’d like to show your car in the MCSS group as we’re working on a discount! \nThe Cruise-In runs from 10:00-3:00 but we’ll plan our Social get together time at 12:00 – 2:00 at the MSCC Corral\, just look for the MSCC banner or check the Facebook page on the day of the event of location updates. \nThe details: \nJoin us for the 2nd Annual Capital Flight Invitational Cruise-In featuring Aviation and Autos\, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Cars Curing Kids. \nSATURDAY AUGUST 13\, 2022\n**Rain date: Sunday August 14\, 2022\n10:00AM – 3:00PM\nMiddleton Morey Airport: 8300 Airport Rd\, Middleton\, WI 53562 \nAirport Identifier for those flying in: C29 \nAwards to be given out include: \n\nFavorite Pre-1967\nFavorite Post-1967 (includes model year 1967)\nFavorite Exotic\nFavorite 4×4\nFavorite Motorcycle\nUncle Al’s Technical Excellence Award\nBest In Show- Capital Flight Red Cylinder Award (Winner also awarded an airplane ride)\nMorey Motion Award- (Winner also awarded a photograph opportunity on the runway numbers with the participant’s car)\n\nAdvance entry fee: $25 ($30 entrance fee day-of). \n**Judging ends at 1:30PM – Awards given out at 2:30PM \nCars & Trucks that sign up for general registration will park in the well manicured grass field\, motorcyles will be parked on the airport ramp and closed taxiway (paved). The fifth MSCC points event of the season will be hosted at Madison International Speedway (MIS). MIS is always a fun venue that drivers of all vehicle types enjoy! \nExperienced and novice drivers are welcome! Many of our experienced Autocrossers are always willing give coaching advice to anyone looking for tips and pointers. \nBe sure to check out the Autocross page here on the MSCC website for detailed information on how you can get into the action – especially the RULEBOOK. Membership is not required\, however\, members receive discounted pricing and acquire points at each event attended. \nhttps://www.madisonsportscarclub.com/autox-faq/ \nREGISTRATION\nImportant notes about registration and cost \nONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY at http://msreg.com/MSCCax5 \nNEW REGISTRATION TIMES FOR 2022\nRegistration for all events will open 37 days prior to the event for MSCC members only and 30 days prior to the event for everyone regardless of MSCC member status.\nRegistration will end two days prior to the event at 11:59pm.  This means the following deadlines will apply: \n\nSaturday events will close registration the Thursday before at 11:59pm.\nSunday events will close registration the Friday before at 11:59pm.\n\nCOST \n\n$35 for MSCC members\n$45 for non MSCC members\n$0 for Spectators (Spectators are free as always\, but everyone must still stop and sign the event waiver)\n\nCHECK IN & TECH INSPECTION: \n\nCheck in the day of the event will vary depending on the venue and times we are allowed to start.  So please carefully review each events posted check-in time on the motorsportreg event listing.\nTech Inspection will always follow check in so tech inspection times will also vary for each event depending on the venue\n\nPlease be sure to bring plenty of water and a lunch.\nAll entrants and guests must stop at the entrance to sign liability waivers.
