DESCRIPTION:Please join Great Lakes Sports Car Club (GLSCC) at Blackhawk Farms for a full-day HPDE offering over TWO HOURS of track time per group. \nThe weekend starts Friday July 6 day open-track test-and-tune to get your confidence up. The track day offers over two hours of track time in rotating 20-minute sessions for each of four groups: Beginner\, Intermediate\, Advanced\, and Competition Licensed.   Groups may be combined for EVEN MORE track time. \nOther events this July weekend are the second Midwestern Council Driver’s School (MC. MCSCC) and the third High-Speed Autocross points event on Saturday\, plus the fifth wheel-to-wheel points race on Sunday. \nFull details will be posted as soon as the details are worked out. DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council of Sports Car Club is hosting the 2018 Midwestern Council July Driver’s School! This school will be limited to all Closed wheel cars and sports racers. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. Successful students will receive an MC 2018 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School has two parts. Friday Night will be a required classroom session with a written quiz at the end of the night. This classroom session provides drivers all the information that they will need the following day to pass the school. This will cover flags\, passing\, basic corning techniques and much more! \nDriver’s School Registration $495\nTrack Timers $180 (closed-wheel and sport racers only)\nTransponder rental\, $50 weekend \nJuly 2018 entry forms will be posted as soon as possible! \nRegistration is online at motorsportreg.com

If you haven’t been to GingerMan lately\, we’ve doubled your motivation! How does twice the track time and two shots at MC championship points sound? If that’s still not enough seat time\, come early for Friday night open track and stay late for the Enduro Sunday afternoon. You can get over five hours of track time this weekend! \nMC ENDURO!\nDon’t miss MC’s only Enduro of the season at GingerMan. Your IT car\, Prod car\, Spec Miata or Spec Racer can easily handle the 2-hour race on one set of tires and brakes without breaking your bank account. The 2 hour length means you can drive it alone if you’re a glutton for punishment\, or you and a buddy can handle the drive and still have enough energy left to drink a victory beer. \nRACE STAFF DESPERATELY NEEDED!\nWe have all the usual worker goodies\, free camping\, free meals and $400 in gas card giveaways. \nPLUS THE USUAL PARTY!\nFollowing the race schedule on Saturday night\, we’ll be cooking up another great Continental-flavored dinner.
