We are partnering with Marcus Point Cinema for a private screening of the highly anticipated “Ford vs. Ferrari” movie. Our event will also include a car show before the show and we already anticipate having a Ford GT40\, a Ferrari\, a Shelby Mustang and any of your special rides you’d like to show off – which will also get you VIP parking! Our MSCC booth will be in the lobby to promote our awesome hobby. Lunch will be available for purchase at Zaffiro’s Express and Take Five Lounge in the lobby. Please join us for an afternoon of fun at Marcus Point Cinema! \nSchedule of Events for Sunday November 17th:\n12:00pm – 2:00pm : Social meet and car show\n2:00pm – 4:30pm : Private Screening of Ford vs Ferrari Movie \nPrice: Anticipated ticket price of $8.00/person with a minimum of 25 participants. Guests will then check in at the MSCC info table and will receive a raffle ticket for each reserved spot they reserved. \n4. Guests can also receive one $5.50 popcorn/soda coupon per person in their group at the same time they check in at the MSCC Info table \n5. Guests will take their raffle ticket(s) up to the Box Office Ticket Counter and present the raffle tickets to purchase their $8.00/ea movie tickets. \n6. Guests will choose their seats when they purchase their tickets at the box office. \nTHEATER ROOMS\nThere will be two theater rooms reserved for this event due to the excellent turn out. We are currently up to 126 reservations!! WOW.\nBoth theater rooms will play the movie at the same time. The first theater we will utilize seats 130 people. So please feel free to show up early and hang out with us! \nCAR SHOW\nWith the January like cold weather\, snow\, and salty roads it doesn’t appear we will have many cars for the “show”. But the theater has said that they will still be willing to cone off a section of the surface parking lot right out in front of the theater. So if you have a fun car (doesn’t have to be anything super special\, just a fun car to you) that you would like to park out front in the coned off area feel free to park in the show area. You will need a driver and navigator and it is OK to bring other passengers along. No special equipment – just a flashlight\, clip board and something to write with. The rally is run at posted legal speed limit \nHalloween costumes highly encouraged. DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs is calling all members\, racers and volunteers to help staff the 2019 VSCDA Blackhawktoberfest III.  Join us for two days of great vintage racing\, including five different open and closed wheel race groups.  Saturday will feature a single practice session and two qualifying sessions per race group\, plus lunch time track touring and a hour long enduro to end the day.  Sunday will feature Heat\, Sprint and Feature races for each group\, plus lunch time track touring and a 12 lap handicap race to close out the weekend.  Full details to follows.

DESCRIPTION:A call to all MCSS members!  Midwestern Council is once again staffing the Blackhawk Vintage Classic weekend for VSCDA\, the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association\, on Friday June 14 to Sunday June 16. It takes a lot of race staffers to grid\, score and flag 23 races over three days! \nPlus\, this year VSCDA is holding the Porasik & Yde Wealth Management Enduro benefitting the Disabled American Veterans organization\, a Formula Ford Birthday Race\, a spec Renault/Spec Ford welcome race\, the Trans Am B Sedan series\, the Sprite Midget race series\, the reverse handicap Dad’s Day Scramble and some of the very best Vintage Formula Vee racing on the planet. The VSCDA Group 1 cars are always a treat on and off the track\, with Bugattis\, Indy racers\, pre-war MGs and everything in between up close and personal\, Blackhawk Farms style. \nAll staffers are included in VSCDA’s welcome pizza/ice cream social on Friday and Saturday dinner by Rockford IL’s 4 star restaurant Franchesco’s\, you’ll never want to leave the track. \nBesides seeing an incredible variety of great cars at full chat\, there are a number of other incentives:\n– Free lunch for all staff – and Blackhawk has really upgraded their food the last few years\n– Free camping as always – the weather steward assures us a beautiful weekend in store\n– The smell of Castrol and racing gas in the morning\n– Great experience for an MC Novice license-holder – from the other side of the guard rail \nPlease e-mail Gary Schneider at membership@madisonsportscarclub.com if you think you can spare a day (or two or three) for a worthy cause. DESCRIPTION:Two days of MC events at Blackhawk Farms Raceway only 50 minutes from Madison. \nSaturday is the 2019 Midwestern Council Driver’s School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This school will include sessions for W-W Closed-wheel cars\, W-W Open-wheel cars and High Speed Autocross cars. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. W-W students will receive an MC Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! Autocross students receive a Certificate of Completion. \nSunday is a full schedule of Wheel-to-wheel action with practice and qualifying in the morning and 30 minute sprint races in the afternoon.
