Your challenge is to navigate and drive the rally course and correctly answer questions along the way. You will need a driver and navigator and it is OK to bring other passengers along. No special equipment needed but a clip board and something to write with might be helpful. SUMMARY:2024 MSCC Autocross Driver’s School
DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing? MSCC is hosting a driver’s school! The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you. We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course\, we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via classroom talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThis school is geared towards new autocrossers.  Students with more than 3 autocrosses should contact us to determine eligibility.  Registrants with autocross experience may be waitlisted at the Steward’s discretion. \nIf you registered but cannot attend\, you must cancel online through MotorSportReg before registration closes on April 19 to get a refund. Cancelling online will allow the next person on the waitlist the opportunity to attend.  (no fee to cancel). \nWaitlist will be used as first come\, first served\, if spaces become available. \n$35 Student Fee (limited to 30 entrants). DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs is calling all members\, racers\, and volunteers for the 2nd and final Driver’s School for the 2024 Season. \nThis school is for drivers interested in competing in full competition Wheel-to-Wheel racing. \nThis school will include sessions for Wheel to Wheel Closed-wheel cars only. (Open-wheel drivers may be interested in our April 2025 school.) You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. Wheel to Wheel students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2024 Novice Competition License upon successful completion and can sign up for the race on Sunday.

Car entry is $30 per car with 100% of the proceeds going to the usual Cars Curing Kids local charity. Spectators are free! The Cruise-In runs from 10:00-3:00 and we’ll be hanging out at the MSCC Corral until 2:00 judging.  Just look for the MSCC canopy and banner near the main hangar. . \nThe show is free to spectators and raises funds for Cars Curing Kids\, an organization committed to funding and supporting causes that improve health outcomes in the lives of children in southern Wisconsin. DESCRIPTION:Time for our annual outing to Sugar River for another 100 Lap Team Enduro!  You don’t want to miss the fun with turn-key racing in 50 mph karts and driver changes! \n\n100 lap race split among each team of 2 drivers. Mandatory pit stop every 25 laps for driver change.\nEach team member will get one 10 lap practice/qualifying session before the race.\nNo co-driver\, no problem – just let us know and we’ll get you lined up with someone else needing a co-driver\nRegistration at noon with practice starting at 12:30\n$80 per driver – You just need closed-toe shoes. Helmet\, gloves and driving coat is furnished (or bring your own) – optional $10 kart insurance\nRSVP required to socials@madisonsportscarclub.com.  While RSVP is required\, payment is at the track.\n\nSugar River Raceway is just 40 minutes south of Madison \nJust plug the following address into your GPS or favorite web mapper: \nSugar River Raceway\nN2236 Mt.
