SUMMARY:MSCC Autocross Driver’s School
DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing?  MSCC is hosting a driver’s school!  The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you.  We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via class room talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThis school is geared towards new autocrossers.  Students with more than 3 autocrosses should contact us to determine eligibility.  Registrants with autocross experience may be waitlisted at the Steward’s discretion. \nIf you register and cannot attend\, please cancel your online reservation before registrations closes to get a full refund and open up the spot for the next person on the waitlist (no fee to cancel). \nWaitlist will be used as first come\, first served\, if spaces become available. \n$35 Student Fee (limited to 30 entrants). Your challenge is to navigate and drive the rallye course and correctly answer questions along the way. You will need a driver and navigator and it is OK to bring other passengers along. No special equipment needed but bring a flashlight\, clip board and something to write with. DESCRIPTION:The Sports Car Club of Rockford (SCCR) presents the first Midwestern Council High-Speed Autocross competition of 2022 on Monday\, May 30th. An entry into the Autocross competition gets you approximately 45 minutes of practice track time plus timed runs in the afternoon. \nStick around after the Autocross laps are in the books for a One Lap Shootout for fastest lap time. To be eligible to participate in the One Lap Shootout you must have entered the Autocross event for the day. Cash prizes will be awarded as seen below. For the One Lap Shootout all participants will be given just one opportunity to make their fast lap\, double entries for the HSAX do not get two chances at the prize. See the supplements in the downloadable entry packet coming soon. \nOne Lap Shoutout cash prizes: 1st place $500\, 2nd place $250\, 3rd place $100. SUMMARY:MSCC Autocross Driver's School
DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing?  MSCC is hosting a driver’s school!  The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you.  We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via class room talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThis school is geared towards new autocrossers.  Students with more than 3 autocrosses should contact us to determine eligibility.  Registrants with autocross experience may be waitlisted at the Steward’s discretion. \nIf you register and cannot attend\, please cancel your online reservation before registrations closes to get a full refund and open up the spot for the next person on the waitlist (no fee to cancel). \nWaitlist will be used as first come\, first served\, if spaces become available. \n$35 Student Fee (limited to 30 entrants). Spectators are free. \nA $35 credit to a 2022 MSCC Autocross will be granted on MSR for each student that completes the school. \n**ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY at msreg.com/MSCCschool\nPlease be sure to bring plenty of water and a lunch. \nAll entrants and guests must stop at the entrance to sign the liability waiver. \nThis is a non-competitive\, non-points event.
