In the Kettle Moraine region of Wisconsin\, between Plymouth and Elkhart Lake\, lies the lush and forested backdrop of one of the most iconic road courses in America. A full four miles in length\, with exhilarating elevation changes\, this track has been home to pro and club racing series since the 1950’s. \nMidwestern Council has been operating as an amateur road racing sanctioning body for sixty years and offers one of the best club racing experiences in the country. \nWe accept current Midwestern Council\, SCCA\, WHRRI\, BMWCCA\, EMRA\, CASC\, PCA\, NASA\, ACC 1&2\, SVRA\, VMC\, HSR licenses (download the entry packet and see details and exclusions: Supplemental Regulations #3) \nFor Volunteers: \nAll Council/SCCA/VSCDA race staff are invited to see all the action up close– in the paddock and trackside by volunteering for a race staff specialty one or both days! DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council of Sports Car Club is hosting the 2018 Midwestern Council July Driver’s School! This school will be limited to all Closed wheel cars and sports racers. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. Successful students will receive an MC 2018 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School has two parts. Friday Night will be a required classroom session with a written quiz at the end of the night. This classroom session provides drivers all the information that they will need the following day to pass the school. DESCRIPTION:Please join Great Lakes Sports Car Club (GLSCC) at Blackhawk Farms for a full-day HPDE offering over TWO HOURS of track time per group. \nThe weekend starts Friday July 6 day open-track test-and-tune to get your confidence up. The track day offers over two hours of track time in rotating 20-minute sessions for each of four groups: Beginner\, Intermediate\, Advanced\, and Competition Licensed.   Groups may be combined for EVEN MORE track time. \nOther events this July weekend are the second Midwestern Council Driver’s School (MC. DESCRIPTION:Please join Great Lakes Sports Car Club (GLSCC) at the famous Milwaukee Mile\, the longest continuously-running racetrack in the country and a staple of the Midwestern Council (MCSCC or MC) schedule in years past! State Fair Park management is very supportive of our event. \nWe’re starting off with a half day open-track test-and-tune on Saturday morning to get your confidence up. The track sessions offer an hour of track time  and is a great chance for your enduro team to practice. (There is no qualification session for this enduro: starting grid is in the order cars appear at grid.) Saturday afternoon is the second MC championship points Autocross of the year\, \nThe Milwaukee Mile Race Challenge I Enduro will begin Saturday afternoon at 5 pm. and will run 2-1/2 hours. DESCRIPTION:Help Needed! VSCDA June 15-17 Vintage Races at Blackhawk Farms \nMSCC and Midwestern Council does such a great job running events at Blackhawk Farms Raceway that the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association (VSCDA) asks us to run their annual event there\, for which we receive a nice donation (note MSCC member John Krebs in the middle of the VSCDA grid shot). \nThey draw a huge entry list of amazing cars from every racing decade\, both open and closed wheels. Being around all of those great cars makes for a great time staffing the event. As always\, free lunch\, camping and Saturday party for everyone helping out\, so please come down and help with any time you can spare – a day or even a morning or afternoon.  No experience is necessary as we train on the job – your help would be much appreciated! \n

DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing?  MSCC is hosting a driver’s school for our first autocross event of the year.  The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you.  We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via class room talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThe cost for the school is $35/student and you will get a free entry to one MSCC autocross event in 2018. \n**NEW FOR 2018 MSCC will be offering online registration at www.motorsportreg.com!  We will only be accepting online registration for the school.** \nBe sure to bring plenty of water and a lunch.
