Many of our experienced Autocrossers are always willing to ride along and give coaching advice to anyone looking for tips and pointers. \nBe sure to check out the Autocross page here on the MSCC website for detailed information on how you can get into the action – especially the RULEBOOK \n**NEW FOR 2018 MSCC will be offering online registration at www.motorsportreg.com!  We will still accept onsite registration for the 2018 season** \nOnsite Registration will only be available from 7:30am – 8:45am the day of the event. \nTech Inspection open from 7:30am – 9:00am the day of the event. \nCost is $35 for members and $45 for non members.

DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing?  MSCC is hosting a driver’s school for our first autocross event of the year.  The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you.  We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via class room talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThe cost for the school is $35/student and you will get a free entry to one MSCC autocross event in 2018. \n**NEW FOR 2018 MSCC will be offering online registration at www.motorsportreg.com!  We will only be accepting online registration for the school.** \nBe sure to bring plenty of water and a lunch. SUMMARY:Midwestern Council April Drivers School
DESCRIPTION:The Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs will be hosting the April 2018 Driver’s School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This school will include sessions for W-W Closed-wheel cars\, W-W Open-wheel cars and High Speed Autocross cars. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. W-W students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2018 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! Autocross students receive a Certificate of Completion. \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School has two parts. Friday Night is a required classroom session with a written quiz at the end of the night. This classroom session provides drivers all the information that they will need the following day to pass the school. This will cover flags\, passing\, basic cornering techniques and much more! For Autocross students\, the Friday night classroom session is optional but recommended.
