SUMMARY:2026 MSCC Autocross Driver’s School
DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing? MSCC is hosting a driver’s school! The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you. We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course\, we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via classroom talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThis school is geared towards new autocrossers.  Students with more than 3 autocrosses should contact us to determine eligibility.  Registrants with autocross experience may be waitlisted at the Steward’s discretion. \nIf you registered but cannot attend\, you must cancel online through MotorSportReg before registration closes on April 17 to get a refund. Cancelling online will allow the next person on the waitlist the opportunity to attend.  (no fee to cancel). \nWaitlist will be used as first come\, first served\, if spaces become available. \n$40 Student Fee (limited to 30 entrants). Spectators are free. \nA $40 credit to a 2026 MSCC Autocross will be granted on MSR for each student who completes the school. \n**ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY – OPENS MARCH 5\, 2026 at msreg.com/MSCC2026PLAXschool\nRemember to be prepared for whatever the weather brings us\, and bring your helmet\, closed-toed shoes\, hydration and a lunch. \nReview the Rulebook for all requirements; including safety\, driver eligibility\, and vehicles:  madisonsportscarclub.com/parking-lot-autocross-general-competition-rules/ \nDownload the following spreadsheet to calculate the modification points assessment of your vehicle to determine the category it should be placed in: Fillable Points Schedule \n7:30 – 8:30 AM: ONSITE CHECK-IN \nAll entrants and guests must stop at the entrance to sign the liability waiver. \nThis is a non-competitive\, non-points event.
