The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you. We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course\, we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via classroom talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThis school is geared towards new autocrossers.  Students with more than 3 autocrosses should contact us to determine eligibility.  Registrants with autocross experience may be waitlisted at the Steward’s discretion. \nIf you registered but cannot attend\, you must cancel online through MotorSportReg before registration closes to get a refund. Cancelling online will allow the next person on the waitlist the opportunity to attend.  (no fee to cancel). \nWaitlist will be used as first come\, first served\, if spaces become available. \n$35 Student Fee (limited to 30 entrants). DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs is calling all members\, racers\, and volunteers for the 2nd and final Driver’s School for the 2024 Season. \nThis school is for drivers interested in competing in full competition Wheel-to-Wheel racing. \nThis school will include sessions for Wheel to Wheel Closed-wheel cars only. (Open-wheel drivers may be interested in our April 2025 school.) You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. Wheel to Wheel students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2024 Novice Competition License upon successful completion and can sign up for the race on Sunday.

SUMMARY:Autocross Driver's School - Game of Cones!
DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing?  MSCC is hosting a driver’s school!  The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you.  We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via class room talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThis school is geared towards new autocrossers.  Students with more than 3 autocrosses should contact us to determine eligibility.  Registrants with autocross experience may be waitlisted at the Steward’s discretion. \nIf you register and cannot attend\, please cancel your online reservation before registrations closes to get a full refund and open up the spot for the next person on the waitlist (no fee to cancel). \nWaitlist will be used as first come\, first served\, if spaces become available. \n$35 Student Fee (limited to 30 entrants). Spectators are free. \nA $35 credit to a 2021 MSCC Autocross will be granted on MSR for each student that completes the school. \nEveryone needs to bring pre-printed waivers (2 pages) – https://www.madisonsportscarclub.com/autocross-registration-form/ \n**ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY at msreg.com/MSCCschool\nPlease be sure to bring your signed liability waiver and plenty of water and a lunch. This school will include sessions for W-W Closed-wheel cars ONLY. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. W-W students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2020 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School has two parts. Friday Night is a required classroom session with a written quiz at the end of the night. This classroom session provides drivers all the information that they will need the following day to pass the school. This will cover flags\, passing\, basic cornering techniques and much more! Then please be at the track early AM on Saturday and prepared for a long but rewarding day! \nThe 2020 July Driver’s School is just around the corner! We have rescheduled the spring 2020 Midwestern Council Driver’s Schools for Friday May 22nd and Saturday May 23rd at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This school will include sessions for W2W Closed-wheel cars and W2W Open-wheel cars. The High Speed Autocross school is also included with this rescheduling.  All students will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. W2W students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2020 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! \nFor High Speed Autocross students please make sure to register early so we know how many students to plan for.  If we do not have enough interest in the HSAX school it may get canceled.  High Speed Autocrossers also please sign up for the Monday May 25th High Speed Autocross event.  We will have instructors available to ride along with you in the morning practice sessions and get you going on track and ready for the afternoon timed runs. \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School and HSAX School consist of two parts.
