SUMMARY:**SPECIAL EVENT** Midwestern Council Race to Save the Children Spec Miata Race
DESCRIPTION:**SPECIAL EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT** \nThe Midwestern Council is partnering with IMSA and Road America to host a special opportunity for Spec Miata racers to race on the big stage! \n \nThe Race to Save the Children Spec Miata Charity event is a collaboration between the sanctioning body Midwestern Council\, IMSA\, and Road America. \nWhile Spec Miata racers will compete in front of a large crowd on Sunday\, the event schedule for the weekend is busy\, resulting in limited track time. Spec Miata racers are able to enter the test day on Thursday\, July 30 as well as participate in 30-minute qualifying and a 60-minute race on Sunday\, August 2. \nEvent Schedule Summary: \n\nThursday is an all day test day and is open to any racer with a competition license and a race car that meets all competition safety requirements.  We will be on track 8:45 to about 4:30. There will be three groups that will get four 30-minute sessions (2 morning\, 2 afternoon)\nSunday is race day and will consist of a 30-minute qualifying in the morning starting at 8:05am\, then a 60-minute race starting at approximately 2:30pm\nFull details on each day will be released Thursday\, with registration/tech times\n\nEntry Fee Summary: \n\nThursday July 30th only: $295 (Does not include weekend track pass)\nSunday Aug 2nd only: $295 (Includes track passes for Saturday and Sunday Only)\nCombined weekend: $550 (Includes a full weekend track pass)\n\nFull details and registration are on the motorsportreg registration page at the link below: \nhttps://www.motorsportreg.com/events/mcscc-race-to-save-children-spec-miata-road-america-midwestern-council-299740

DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council (Great Lakes Sports Car Club) is hosting several on track events on the weekend of Aug 28 – 30th.  A brief summary of each days events is included below.  Please see the registration link below the summary for all details and registration information. \nFriday Aug 28th Day: \nHPDE: 9:00am to 4:30pm.\n$175 for full day\n$135 for morning only (9am – 12 noon).\n4 groups: Closed Wheel\, Open Wheel\, Novice/Intermediate\, and Advanced. Each group will get 4 sessions on track (full day).\nFriday Aug 28th Evening: \nHSAX: 5:00 – 7:30pm\n$70 HSAX timed runs only (no HPDE practice time)\n$225 for Friday daytime HPDE and Friday night HSAX timed runs.\nSaturday Aug 29th: \n1.  HSAX: 8:00 am – 4:45 pm\n$185\nMorning HPDE Practice\, Afternoon timed runs\nThere is an additional discount if you register for both HSAX events (Fri and Sat).
