DESCRIPTION:The Great Lakes Sport Car Club  (GLSCC) presents a Midwestern Council (MC\, MCSCC) High-Speed HPDE and Autocross day on Saturday June 23rd at the famous Milwaukee Mile! \nThe morning will consist of three 20-minute practice sessions\, open to all HPDE entrants and as practice sessions for all High Speed Autocross (HSAX) entrants. There will be three HPDE/AX Practice Groups: 1) Advanced/Comp Drivers  2) Intermediate  3)Beginner* \n*Instructors will be available for beginner group drivers and a Novice Meeting will be held for first time participants. \nThe full afternoon will consist of High Speed Autocross Timed Runs. \nPlease come out to support and celebrate MC’s return to its roots by racing\, working or both. DESCRIPTION:Please join Great Lakes Sports Car Club (GLSCC) at the famous Milwaukee Mile\, the longest continuously-running racetrack in the country and a staple of the Midwestern Council (MCSCC or MC) schedule in years past! State Fair Park management is very supportive of our event. \nWe’re starting off with a half day open-track test-and-tune on Saturday morning to get your confidence up. The track sessions offer an hour of track time  and is a great chance for your enduro team to practice. (There is no qualification session for this enduro: starting grid is in the order cars appear at grid.) Saturday afternoon is the second MC championship points Autocross of the year\, \nThe Milwaukee Mile Race Challenge I Enduro will begin Saturday afternoon at 5 pm. and will run 2-1/2 hours. Then stick around for Sunday’s MC points wheel-to-wheel races. \nCome out to support and celebrate MC’s return to its roots by racing\, working or both. DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing?  MSCC is hosting a driver’s school for our first autocross event of the year.  The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you.  We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via class room talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThe cost for the school is $35/student and you will get a free entry to one MSCC autocross event in 2018. \n**NEW FOR 2018 MSCC will be offering online registration at www.motorsportreg.com!  We will only be accepting online registration for the school.** \nBe sure to bring plenty of water and a lunch. SUMMARY:Midwestern Council April Drivers School
DESCRIPTION:The Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs will be hosting the April 2018 Driver’s School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This school will include sessions for W-W Closed-wheel cars\, W-W Open-wheel cars and High Speed Autocross cars. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. W-W students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2018 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! Autocross students receive a Certificate of Completion. \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School has two parts. Friday Night is a required classroom session with a written quiz at the end of the night. This classroom session provides drivers all the information that they will need the following day to pass the school. This will cover flags\, passing\, basic cornering techniques and much more! For Autocross students\, the Friday night classroom session is optional but recommended.
