DESCRIPTION:**SPECIAL EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT** \nThe Midwestern Council is partnering with IMSA and Road America to host a special opportunity for Spec Miata racers to race on the big stage! \n \nThe Race to Save the Children Spec Miata Charity event is a collaboration between the sanctioning body Midwestern Council\, IMSA\, and Road America. \nWhile Spec Miata racers will compete in front of a large crowd on Sunday\, the event schedule for the weekend is busy\, resulting in limited track time. Spec Miata racers are able to enter the test day on Thursday\, July 30 as well as participate in 30-minute qualifying and a 60-minute race on Sunday\, August 2. \nEvent Schedule Summary: \n\nThursday is an all day test day and is open to any racer with a competition license and a race car that meets all competition safety requirements.  We will be on track 8:45 to about 4:30. DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs is calling all members\, racers and volunteers for our July 2020 Midwestern Council Driver’s School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This school will include sessions for W-W Closed-wheel cars ONLY. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. W-W students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2020 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School has two parts. Friday Night is a required classroom session with a written quiz at the end of the night. This classroom session provides drivers all the information that they will need the following day to pass the school. This will cover flags\, passing\, basic cornering techniques and much more! DESCRIPTION:Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs is calling all members\, racers and volunteers! We will be hosting the April 2020 Midwestern Council Driver’s School at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. This school will include sessions for W-W Closed-wheel cars\, W-W Open-wheel cars and High Speed Autocross cars. You will spend the entire day either on the track or receiving constant feedback from experienced instructors. W-W students will receive an MC (MCSCC) 2020 Novice Competition License upon successful completion\, and can sign up for the race on Sunday! Autocross students receive a Certificate of Completion. \nThe Wheel-to-Wheel Drivers School has two parts. Friday Night is a required classroom session with a written quiz at the end of the night. This classroom session provides drivers all the information that they will need the following day to pass the school. This will cover flags\, passing\, basic cornering techniques and much more! For Autocross students\, the Friday night classroom session is optional but recommended. DESCRIPTION:Off to a fast start with event #3!!  The third MSCC points event of the 2019 season will be hosted at Jefferson Speedway. \nJefferson Speedway may be a smaller venue but our talented and creative MSCC course designers always find a way to make this a great venue to drive and compete at! \nExperienced and novice drivers are welcome! Many of our experienced Autocrossers are always willing to ride along and give coaching advice to anyone looking for tips and pointers. \nBe sure to check out the Autocross page here on the MSCC website for detailed information on how you can get into the action – especially the RULEBOOK \n**FOR 2019 MSCC will be ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY at www.motorsportreg.com!**\n**Important notes about registration and cost**\nEarly online registration (more than 48 hours prior to the event) cost is $35 for members and $45 for non members. \nOnline registration less than 48 hours before the event until registration closes will be $40 for members and $50 for non-members. \nRegistration closes the night before the event. \nCheck in the day of the event is open from 7:00am – 8:30am \nTech Inspection is open from 7:15am – 8:45am the day of the event. \nPlease Register at  Motorsportsreg

DESCRIPTION:Looking to start Autocrossing?  MSCC is hosting a driver’s school for our first autocross event of the year.  The school will have a maximum of 30 students to help ensure that everyone gets plenty of seat time and plenty of time with the instructors. \nNo need to worry if you haven’t participated in an Autocross event. Our school will be the perfect first event for you.  We will cover topics such as a typical day’s schedule\, what tech inspection will mean for you and your car\, what competition class your car will be in\, and of course we will introduce you to the fundamentals of car control via class room talk as well as on track.  Be sure to check out our website for detailed information to get you into the action. \nThe cost for the school is $30/student. \n**FOR 2019 MSCC will be ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY at www.motorsportreg.com!**\nBe sure to bring plenty of water and a lunch. Concession stands are also available during this time. \nAll entrants and guests must stop at the entrance to sign the liability waiver. Entrants will register here.
