October 23 -- The Madison Sports Car Club concluded its Autocross season at Miller Park today. A slightly cool day didn't scare 58 drivers from the event, where each driver had eight timed runs. Problems with the timing system's laser heads forced the club to switch to a manual mode. However, as series chair, Erik Hutchins stated, "Doing the timing manually actually went really well. I did the start button and Stef did the finish. I switched off start with Mark Holmes (my STi ride) for heats 2 and 4. Everybody had the same start and finish people for their heats so any slight delays in reaction were the same."
Fast time of the day went to Erik Hutchins, driving a borrowed Subaru STi. Erik posted a best time of 59.689.
