SIR STIRLING MOSS RECOVERING NICELY FROM SURGERY
Sir Stirling Moss, in a telephone conversation with Race Legends president Donn Gurney, reports that his recent surgery has "done wonders" and that he's back on his feet. He also states that he feels that he is well on the road to recovery from the back problems that have plagued him since his crash at Spa in 1959. These injuries were aggravated a year ago while driving in the Japanese vintage Mille Miglia and their treatment ultimately led to surgery last month. Sir Stirling Moss O.B.E., was chosen as Britain's Driver of the 20th Century.
Moss will be guest of honor at the Madison Sports Car Club's 50th anniversary dinner January 29, 2005 in Madison, Wisconsin at the Monona Terrace Convention Center.
