MSCC Presents its 2006 Madison Sports Car Club Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet. At the banquet, the 2006 Club Award winners will be honored; autocross season champions crowned; the Board of Directors will be appointed; and prizes will be won. Surrounding all of this activity is a fabulous dinner, great social conversation and bench-racing. Cost: $35/ person for buffet meal, complementary beer, wine and soda provided (activity points* can be used to defray cost of meal) Please confirm your dinner reservations before November 30. Any are welcome to attend the awards, but you must reserve your dinner by Nov. 30.

The Madison Sports Car Cub will be holding an ice race (timed solo series) on January 21, February 11 and March 4, 2006, on Lake Wisconsin at the Bayview Lodge. There are nine classes based on drivetrain and tire type. Registration will take place inside the lodge.

Madison International Speedway is holding a special “All Star Challenge” race on Tuesday June 27 featuring Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart. It’s very likely a few more NASCAR friends will stop by too. That sounds like a great event for a Club Night Out, even though the party starts in the afternoon.

MSCC presents its annual Halloween gimmick rallye. The rally begins at Quaker Steak & Lube in Middleton, with the first car leaving at 6:30 PM. Easy route instructions availble for beginners. Bring a flashlight, pencil and sense of humor. $10/car or $5/person for the party. Party begins at 8:30 at Beck's on the Lake in Poynette.

Fellow MSCC member Dan Giesen has organized an impromptu Club Night Out that will be held in about a week and a half. Dan has put together a last chance go kart event to be held at Sugar River Raceway the evening of Saturday, November 4th. Start time will be around 5pm and the evening will be all MSCC members so there should be lots of track time. For more information or to reserve a spot, contact Dan Giesen.
